To really feel the power inside the G, you need instinctively responsive control. Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC)* uses laser sensors and a digital rangefinder to measure the distance between your vehicle and the car in front, which then automatically trigger the brake or throttle to maintain a preset distance between vehicles. The laser sensors team up with the vehicle’s preview braking system to slow down the vehicle in an emergency. *The system is not designed to prevent collisions or act as warning devices. They do not automatically bring the vehicle to a stop. Failure to apply the brakes may lead to an accident.
The G is built around advanced technology to let you concentrate on the thrill of driving. As you approach your Infiniti G the Intelligent Key automatically unlocks your door and boot. And by holding your I-Key lock button down, it will also open your windows and sun roof. Personal comfort is further enhanced by the optional memory system that can be pre-programmed for two different drivers – automatically adjusting the driver’s seat, steering wheel and exterior mirrors to your ideal position. If you readjust the seat, the exterior mirrors and steering wheel are also moved accordingly. The advanced technology of the auto-dimming electro-chrome mirror adjusts its reflectivity to avoid glare for more comfortable and safer driving.
Front and rear parking sensors help to ensure you maintain a safe distance from other road objects, making elegant parking and manoeuvring a good deal easier. As you approach an obstacle, an audible warning sounds at increasingly shorter intervals so you can judge distances simply and accurately when parking or manoeuvring.
